The way up on the orange trail was great. The way down on the green trail was quite the adventure since we had to cross the overflowing river at least 3 times with a 6 year old... We survived and will have some fun memories to look back on!
Tale of Two Trails: Took Green on way up. It’s a more narrow, rocky, up and down trail that skirts ravines and gullies with many interesting fallen tree formations on either side. Took Orange on way down which is a wider, less rocky walk in the forest. Splits: Green out-34:01; Orange back:-21.32. Not bad for two 74 year olds.
Definitely a nice place to stop if you’re in the area! Beautiful view and was happy there is a stream along part of the trail, because my dog likes to cool off in the water :) When I got there the lot was empty, which was good cause it is on the small side. Overall, good shorter trail.
