A one mile loop trail passes the traditional site of the grave of General Fraser, who was mortally wounded during the second Battle of Saratoga. Beyond the gravesite, the trail continues to the sites of the British hospital, artillery park, baggage area, and Tayler House where Fraser died.

Walked this on a warm and windy 240th Anniversary of the 2nd Battle of Saratoga. The grassy trail was wet from the morning rain, but was well mowed and presented no worries for ticks. The interpretative signs along the old Champlain Canal were interesting. Migrating warblers flitted about us as we walked along the old canal. Overall, a very enjoyable little walk in a seldom visited part of the battlefield.

This is a nice little walk, but it seemed to me as if it was park of the larger 11.5 mile loop around the battlefield not its own trail. When done with the rest of the Saratoga Battlefield Tour Road it would make for a great and educational outing.
