Overall - a nice stroll through the woods. Didn't pass anyone on the trail, but heard a few campers off to the sides. I didn't love the section on the road, but it was minimal.

This was my first time mountain biking and I had an absolute blast. I ended up with a good amount of dismounts towards the end (riding counterclockwise) where I ran into rotted bridge slats and large, uphill roots, but I'd still highly recommend this trail for any activity. I know that some parts can get extremely muddy during a wet spell, but this was no issue today.

Be sure to wear bug spray for this trail! The birdsongs were wonderful and the trail was great. The road section is a bit awkward but from the top of the road there is a great view of the hills from behind.

This was a fun trail to hike. We both enjoyed seeing the horse riders on the way. Quite a variety of terrain to walk which included woods, grassy trails, crushed stone and a section of the road too. We wondered away from the main trail a bit to see Fosters pond. All in all an enjoyable couple of hours.

nice hike! parts of the wooden walkway need new boards and weed whacking. the best part was in a very woodsy part with dirt (not rocks/gravel) and the dead leaves and pine needles underneath...thunder and big cooling winds ... light sprinkle of rain. it was wonderful. it made up for the awful uphill on the paved road, lol. lots of people out here today.

Overall I loved this, before you get back to the road (the road was my least favorite part) you go through the horse camp. Luckily my dog is very comfortable with horses but I think it’s definitely something to be aware of. On the interlocken trail, which you take to get back from the road, parts of it are SUPER muddy, some of the little bridges are beginning to break - it’s still manageable though. Technically the bridge on the backbone trail is still closed from the flood; it appears pretty sturdy though.

This trail kicked my butt! I am fairly new to trail riding and wanted to try and test my limits. This trail is close. I enjoyed riding it and in a few spots walking it. I do have to say I made it through some things I wouldn't have thought I could do. All in all I will be back.

Very muddy and full of mosquitoes. started off at picnic rd . Trail started out nice first half mile and turned i to a very narrow over grown trail. Trail needs alot of work.

Tends to get the first and longest lasting snow on the east side of Seneca Lake due to its high elevation which captures the moisture of the prevailing westerlies. There will often be snow there when the rest of the area is bare.
