Parking on the side of the road near the end trail is the sortest way into the falls. You can also park in the park and hike in from there.

Great hike. Awesome views. Easy to follow. Trail markers every few hundred feet.

Easy, heavily trafficked trail (most likely see an abundance of kids and dogs). The flame is really interesting to see, much more enjoyable when there aren’t other people to get in the way of some cool pictures. Other than that it feels just like a walk in a park.

An easy hike. Lots of people were there the day I did it. Old, young, dogs, etc. A little bit of climbing was involved, and plan on getting a little wet after a good rainfall.

Unexpected natural beauty! Never heard of this before! Great creek bed hike. Above ravine, I felt like I was in an Oregon forest! Beautiful!

Very beautiful short hike. Beware of slippery rocks, muddy trail beds, and unearthed tree roots along the trail. Some areas of the trail are difficult to navigate due to these issues or downed trees. Keep on the trail and follow the small signs with flames on them. Seeing the flame and relaxing in the canyon at the end is well worth the trek!

Definitely more difficult than preempted. Went after a rain storm and there was a lot of moving rocks and logs to get to the destination. But really beautiful and fun, nonetheless.

went with kids on our backs and still manageable. beautiful trail.

The flame itself is cool to see, the falls themselves were not super impressive, even after a few days of rain. Easy, short little trail. Deceptively easy on the way into the ravine, until you have to climb back out. Follow the trail markers that are white with a little flame on them with numbers.

Love this hike. Do it every time we visit Buffalo. Kids love it.

This was a fun hike for me and my boyfriend but I agree with other reviews saying it should be moderate. There's lots of parts going into the ravine where you have to maneuver over branches. You will get wet but I didn't mind. Still fun. It's a quick but more challenging hike than some reviews make it seem.

Great view and a very easy hike. Make sure you club this him with other nearby hikes as this one goes pretty fast.
Also, don't accidentally put out the flame :).

Great view! Pretty hike! Still some snow on the ground, but makes for a beautiful scene! It is quite muddy in spots, so brace yourself..... I personally did not think this hike was very hard, just tricky in some spots! You do have to maneuver over branches and through the will get wet!!! However I am from Washington state where I climb mountains.....

Fun hike. Start above the gorge then work your way down and follow the river.
You'll get wet, but it's worth it with the Eternal Flame hidden under the waterfall!

Beautiful. Bring a lighter, just in case you need to re-light it (you can smell the natural gas).
Hard to hike if it is very icy.

decent, good scenery fun time can be turned into a day hike depending on where you start from and if you side track trails.

Went today for second time. Great hike. Should be rated moderate, coming out it's a short but up hill. Wear proper shoes. Saw a grandma trying to hike it in heals. May get your feet wet but great hike.

Since there we barely got rain this summer, it looks pretty dried up. Beautiful easy trail, good for dogs too :)

Fun hike but you want to go early to avoid the crowds. Narrow path and only one way in and out.

This trail finally has been marked and posted properly after two deaths, it is a 209ft in elevation. It's not dangerous in and on of it's self just stay on the trail!

Nice short hike in the Buffalo area. Not an overly difficult trail, although my girlfriend found it more challanging than I did and would tell you this should be rated as moderate not easy. Go early enough in the day, we went later and the trail gets dark very quickly with the heavy tree cover making the trail harder to follow. It had rained for 3 straight days before we went so the river was higher than normal and it was more difficult to stay dry and out of the river than at normal levels. Overall a fun hike worth doing, just keep going up the river you will know when you get there.
