Great walk! Headed to the island dog park, was a first and it’s wonderful! Walked along the water, and I am pretty sure the route I went is not the one I selected initially on here. Regardless, you can’t go wrong following the path I recorded lol.

Great biking, walking, or running trail for those who don’t want hills, a paved surface, and to be surrounded by nature. You can’t get going very fast on the bike due to trail traffic and turns but it’s very nice for a mild to moderate intensity ride. Plus there are plenty of places to eat at the west end of the trail if you keep going past Ellicott creek park about 3 miles down. There is trail the whole way

Walking this trail during gosling season leaves a LOT of hostile geese on the trail if you start from the NFB end. Start from the other end and you won’t have a problem for the first 3.5 miles. Starting at Niagara Falls Blvd. the first 2 miles are chock full of geese and goslings in May.

10/10 recommend. Kid + dog friendly. Route starts at a park which has many play grounds, pavilions with grills, a outdoor gym, tennis, soccer , Frisbee golf and many other activities to do. Mostly flat + paved trail leads along beautiful scenery.

Nice long paved path for a variety of activities. Can be hot because there’s not a lot of shading. Not super exciting but great for a flat safe surface.

A very nice trail that follows Ellicott Creek from North Forest and Maple to Ellicott Creek Park. Very scenic, several bridges take you back and forth across the creek. I enjoy running and walking here as well as kayaking in the creek. The section that takes you through the University of Buffalo campus is particularly nice. My girlfriend and I often park one car at one end and start at the other in order to walk the entire path. Plenty of wildlife (deer, fox, wild turkey's) Large parking lot with restrooms. It does indeed get crowded, but you can avoid that by going out early. You beat the heat this way as well.

This is a great place to bike, walk, run or roller blade. The paved walkway is smooth and everything is well kept. I took my grandchildren biking (10 and 6 yrs). The six-year-old was on training wheels. We went 3 1/2 miles before turning around (6.6 miles is pretty good for a 6 yr old on training wheels!). The only part I didn't care for was the section along a road which included a narrow bridge. Thankfully there was very little traffic on the road and the cars that did come by we're going slow. This is a one way trail, so plan accordingly

Have not done all 10 miles, but very nicely paved, scenic biking/walking/running trail. Very busy place in summer.
