Wet and muddy on this late Fall day. Did not see a soul until our trip back down when we ran into two groups going up. Unfortunately, we got up there when the Sun was in the South and right in our faces and the camera :)

I really enjoyed it. I wasn’t expecting walking up a rocking trail but the view and the sights along the way made up for the the rough walk. The View was amazing. Would do it again if my family would walk it again!

The views at the end of this gauntlet of a trail make up for all the pain you’ll endure during it.

Great hike overall. We took almost an hour to reach the top because the trail is muddy so we walked slowly. Stunning view at the top. Round trip took an hour n 45 mins. It was a little tiring towards the top where it gets steep but rest of the hike was ok.

Stunning views! This is a short climb but uses all the quads and hamstrings you have. My favorite kind of hike!!!

Low investment, high reward! It’s a little steep and muddy in spots so wear hiking boots.

This is a nice, short hike to an excellent lookout - echo cliffs - overlooking Piseco Lake and outlet. For those not used to ADK hiking, the rocks may be bothersome. The steepest section is the last .2 to the cliffs. I’ve paddled in the Piseco area, and driven by this trail many times on my way to other hiking destinations, today’s visit was on the way back from hiking further north. I’m glad I finally visited this trail. I’ll climb it again for sure! Enjoy!

Short, but rewarding hike. The trail head says is 0.6, but it's more like 0.8 to the summit.

Roughly 30 minutes to the top, our dogs had a great time with this hike too. I really enjoyed this trail, pretty much all uphill. Our group was rather fit but still some struggled and needed to take breaks, if you ask them they would say this was a difficult trail. The view at the top is absolutely stunning!

BackpackingGreat!

Short hike with beautiful views overlooking the lake. A good climb especially toward the end, but nothing technically difficult. It was dry when we went, so perhaps if it rains a lot, be prepared for mud. Make sure to walk down to the water’s edge when you’re back at the car. It’s just past the parking area and you get another perspective of the lake. We watched a seaplane land right in front of us. Round trip took 90 minutes.

Very busy, extremely eroded trail. The first half is easy, the second half is a nice little leg burner with a few small scrambles. Excellent views from the cliff.
