Darien Lake Loop is a 6.4 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Darien Center, New York that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and nature trips and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Easy hike with the dog but use a map from the state park's website. Trails aren't all marked but the Gas Wells serve as excellent reference points to determine where you are. Lots of black flies too.

Some signage definitely needs to be replaced. Some confusing times when natural looking trail (continuation of gravel for example) leads hikers the wrong way through a unlabeled fork.

Fairly easy trail. Does get more challenging once you get closer to the Creek. But the dogs and I easily hiked all 7 miles. Best thing was that we didn’t see anyone!
