This was a nice hike. The purple trail is not well marked and just kind of dropped out. That said, we spent a little bit of time on red yellow purple blue and white trails, got a bunch of miles in, and really enjoyed the views. There were quite a few people on the trail. The trails are marked as one way in some sections, but it’s impossible to follow that because they all loop around.

Nice trail with shade

Fun, short hike with interesting historical sights. Bring the bug spray.

Lots of people here and lots without masks on. Parking was difficult at first. I didn’t realize there’s multiple places to park. I didn’t think I could drive past the gate. the one way trails is beyonddd confusing & most people disregarded (just like not wearing masks).

This was a pretty easy trail, but sometimes the trail markers were confusing. We were trying to do the quarry loop but never exactly found it. We also got a little turned around going back to the car. That said, it was pretty. We only saw about 10 or so other people on the path so it wasn’t crazy crowded. I’m gonna try again for the actual quarry loop another day. The red marker trail was the prettiest one that I saw today.

Nature filled... nice 2 mile loop filled with nature. Bring lots of bug spray and a camera for some rice shots. Really peaceful.

Nice quick trail for short evening hike. Many different options for markers to follow.

Make sure to start the trails at the right place. All trails are temporarily one way.

beautiful day for a walk. few trails in this area not listed here.

blue trail connects red and yellow. goes around the lake.

Great trail for young kids with many options for different distances, and able to change trails mid-hike. Could be better at posting distances for the different colored hikes.

This place is PHENOMENAL. It is odd that I only found this particular loop trail on the app, but there are more trails to check out in this place, ESPECIALLY the loop which leads to the quarry (purple/white, I believe). I’ve uploaded some pics of the quarry, a truly beautiful portion of the preserve. Parts of this particular trail are rocky and some are lined with thin boardwalks. Very relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend to snap a picture of the map at the trailhead and explore more of this preserve!
