Corning Cascade Falls is a 0.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Troy, New York that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips.
This short and sweet trail has great views of the falls.
Falls were nice. Trail isn't to clean, lots of garbage, cement blocks and rebarb sticking out of the ground. Parking is an issue, I ended up walking down from Burden Pond.
The falls were at its full glory, plenty of plunging water and waterfowl present. Unfortunately there was plenty litter soiling such a serene vista. The sound of the rushing water and the view of plenty of water-borne birds makes this a splendid spot to warm up to a good book or forget one’s problems for a while.
It was good so many spectacular waterfalls. This is a true in and out trail no outlet at the preserve.
This is like the world's shortest trail, but beautiful views of the water. Tons of litter unfortunately. Very easy to miss the trailhead -- you'll see a bus stop, there's a tiny trail leading into the woods behind it. Or if you continue down the road (away from the houses), you'll see a small opening and another trail head.
