A nice short hike typical of Harriman. Trail begins directly across from the entrance to the Sebago Lake boat launch area, where you can park. After a short but moderately steep uphill on the Blue trail, go left on the Yellow trail (the intersection could be better marked), which follows the crest of Conklin Mountain. There are a handful of little streams, and the path narrows at points between shoulder-high brush. After about a mile, the trail turns left and you'll encounter a pretty waterfall. Take another left on a kind of blah gravel road and left again at the Red "ski trail," marked by a rusty sign (facing the opposite direction) reading "Foot Travel Only." The Red trail is a lovely gentle downhill walk following the course of a fast-running stream (at least it was fast-running in early May). You'll eventually reach Seven Mile Road a little ways up from where you started. Cross the road and continue on the Red trail back to the parking area.
