Went for a sunset hike, it was stunning! Great view! No one else there on a Saturday evening, hardly any bugs. Half hour up and half hour to get down. Bring a flashlight for going back down.

Easy trail but as the last of the Tupper lake triad it was harder than I thought it would be. Nice view for very little work!

Nice trail, very easy to travel. Not a lot of markers but well traveled enough you don’t need to worry about it. Lots of people out today. My first hike in just over two months since injuring my knee. Boyfriend and my 5 year old daughter came with. Took us an hour and a half with time on the top to snack and take pictures. Beautiful view at the summit, highly recommend. :)

Catching up on a busy week in the ADK. Completed on July 29. Just found out about the Tupper Triad and realized that the Fire Tower challenge is a bit ambitious this year so ... going for an easy patch. Started with The Wilds this morning, Coney and following up with Goodman. There was rain this morning but Coney Mountain was dry. It was probably a good thing as there were a few large rocks that might have been slippery. Map My Run showed this at 2.12 miles and 1 hr 31 mins. This doesn't include resting time at the top. Many groups wandering the trail today but not over crowded. Very few bugs to worry about. There was a great view from the top ... as always. Overall this was a great hike.

A great hike with gorgeous 360 degree views. It’s a fairly gradual incline all the way up to the peak. Did it with my 50 yr old father and we had very little trouble, 1 hour round trip!

i was so pleasantly surprised with this hike!! fun little walk through the woods and a minimal elevation gain, but you can't beat the 360 degree summit views for the amount of effort! great for beginner hikers, but still enjoyable for experienced hikers too! I did it as the last hike of my day to complete the Tupper Lake Triad.

The only reason this is getting 4 stars is because of the view. This is a tough, rough, rocky, and hilly hike. My kids (7 & 4) struggled at this as did my MIL with bad knees. It was also very buggy at the top then coming back down. The views are awesome though.

Great beginner hike but also great for all hikers. Only about 2.2 miles in total. Takes about an hour and half depending on pace. Buggy, I got bit right when I reached the top and it was excruciating pain . Wonderful views tho, very mellow compared to most. But still beautiful

Heavily trafficked trail, there were several families and dogs. A little muggy and rocky in some places, the trail to the summit is definitely steep! The dog loved it, and for someone who is out of shape, it only took and hour and 14 minutes to get to the top. The downward trek was a little dicey in some places, but I’m also afraid of heights.
