Coney Island and Brighton Beach Boardwalk Trail is a 4.1 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Brooklyn, New York that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, trail running, and birding and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

By trail, I mean boardwalk. Take the subway out to Coney Island and walk the boardwalk as a loop. Start at any of the entry points and go down and around to the other end until you return to where you began. I guarantee you'll see more than you might have imagined. Likely you also decided to have a Nathan's hotdog or take a dip in the ocean! Why not right? The oceanfront Russian restaurants offer an amazing lunch special everyday in the summer that includes options like Borscht. We love the workout and change of pace from the forest trails.
