A nice easy trail to break you in for a good summer of hiking. Also some interesting history and information laid out around the community colleges field campus there.

I walked this trail wih my grandson today. Parts of it are rather steep but well groomed. Nice views of the Hudson River. There is also a field station for Columbia Greene CC and remnants of the foundation of the ice house that was once here. Saw a few birds, one woodpecker, and many coltsfoot flowers. - Brad

This is a nice trail, good for all ages though a steep hill may be challenging for some.
