Great easy trail for a quick hike in morning! Bit muddy but can manage around it and the view is worth it!

Good and easy hike with the dog. There were a few muddy spots. Very nice view at the end.

Went the day after a heavy rain so it was muddy, but probably the easiest hike in the area for such a great view. Essentially flat hiking, with an awesome lookout at the end.

Great, short trail with an amazing view. It was a little muddy from the morning rain but still easy to get through. We hiked Algonquin the day before, so our legs were fried but we were itching for another good view. This trail was perfect for our tired legs.

Hiked on a weekday afternoon in July. Passed about 20 people on the way up the trail, but we had the view to ourselves at the top. Very rocky and rooty, especially after the initial incline at the trailhead. A good leg stretcher with a pretty awesome view at the end!

Great easy trail with amazing view at the summit! Definitely huge payoff for little effort. Older parents took it slow (a few tricky mud areas) but didn’t complain. On the crowded side but not too bad. The trail continues past the main view area a bit but is confusing and not really worth it.

Great trail for an easy hike with the family. The views at the summit are stunning, and an awesome spot to relax for a bit and just take in the scenery. As others have mentioned, great payoff for such an easy hike! It had been a dry stretch when we did this hike, and the muddy spots were easy to navigate around and/or had boards to walk over. After big rains, can imagine that it would get quite muddy though, also roots and rocks along the trail might get slippery.

Great views. Pretty easy hike with family. It can get muddy in a few areas so good to bring shoes that you don’t mind scuffing up.

Outstanding views for very little effort. It may difficult for people with balance issues, the trail gets rocky and muddy with lots of roots. Otherwise a lovely hike.

I hiked this in the beginning of October of 2019. This was a quick, easy hike with a surprising payoff. The view at the clearing is amazing for such an easy hike. Some spots were muddy, but otherwise it was smooth sailing. The trail was clearly marked, shady, and bug free that time of year. Definitely recommend.

Shady walk through the woods, but a little muddy. Great view at the end of the trail.

Great views after an easy hike up. Trail was a bit muddy from storms that came through last night but not unmanageable. Lots of space at the top

Really enjoyed this hike. We met a 65+ couple who looked healthy, but they said it was a challenging climb for them. Anyway, the view at the end was just beautiful, and as someone else mentioned, a great place for a picnic.

Nice little out and back with a great view at the end. Flat, well-marked, muddy sections are mostly covered with walkways. Limited parking and seems to be a popular location. Several cars were parked along the road.

Really great intro to hiking hike with big reward at trails end. I wish we brought a picnic basket to dine out at the ending overlook. It is a broad, spectacular view of the mountains at the top.

Fabulous, easy hike. Well marked with a fantastic view. Good parking in a small lot at the trailhead. Lots of bugs though, so bring some repellent.

This trail is very well marked and has a very nice easy climb. There are spots of mud , with bridges and walking planks to help you stay dry. Some rocky parts may require a steady footing. Used a walking stick and helped to keep me on track. I would recommend it to anyone , the view at the top was worth the effort.
