Tricky hike, for sure. the ropes were all there and we got up the lower set of creek scrambles, and on up to the big waterfall. waterfall was definitely not safe so we left the creek and scrambled up the left (when facing the waterfall) side of gully to the ridge where we found the trail. following the trail uphill we got to the upper parking lot. Lots of fun. Next time, I'd bring bikes and lock them up at the top to coast back down to the lower parking lot after the hike.

Fun trail if you dont mind getting a bit wet and muddy. First time doing a trail with ropes in years, great workout. Will definitely come again.

Follow the creek up using the ropes at the steep parts. Will be very slippery and at parts quite challenging. Super fun!

First off, this trail is no joke. The first half is entirely up hill. It’s VERY steep. Awesome view at the top then it hits a nice waterfall. The last 1/3 of the trail is unmarked and basically not there. The app said I was standing on it and it was nowhere to be found. Had to scramble down the hill and my butt and hands to the steam and rappel down the water falls with ropes that someone put there. This was very sketchy at times and I was lucky to make it down without slipping. Overall it was a frustrating yet adrenaline filled hike. Super glad I didn’t have my fiancé with me today. This hike is not for everyone and would be a better out and back hike. Tons of beer cans on the trail as well. Pick up your trash people.

The first half of the trail is nice, but it is quite the climb.... about halfway we lost the trail and started breaking bush, made our own way and some how ended back on the trail climbing down multiple waterfalls with sketchy ropes. Definitely an adventure, AllTrails app helped out a lot!

Fun, challenging trail. It’s not always very well marked but having the gully around should make it easy to keep your overall bearings. There are some tough scrambles, be sure to pack your sense of adventure.

This was an excellent hike. It is fairly challenging due to the elevation gain and the somewhat slippery conditions through the gully. If you’re looking for a FUN hike, this is it.

Very dangerous! This “trail” is on either side of the gully & you have to hike in the water for some sections. There are a few smaller falls before you reach the big one. To get past them requires trusting a series of old, wet, frayed ropes, over slippery brittle shale. This was even more difficult on the way back down. Not worth the risk imo.

Trail used to be incredible and challenging. Went yesterday and all the ropes look to have been cut so climbing proved difficult. Love the area just not the trail

Half of the trail is washed away, we found ourselves lost. This is not a moderate or safe trail.
