Main trail down to waterfall is rocky with steps. Bridge at base of waterfall is crossable but other side was very muddy. Beautiful views.

The waterfall is absolutely massive! If you want to go hiking further into the woods, there are trails but they aren’t marked on the map. The only concern is that it’s a bit steep and rocky on the way down to the fall.

Beautiful falls and views. However, if you try to go further and follow the C or D trails, they are not well marked at all.

beautiful hi!ke

First time at Great Bear. Nice, easy trails (the ones we did), well kept. Went toward evening though, as this place gets PACKED early in the day. Grabbed three geocaches while we were there. There are quite a few more, for those who are into that. *The last 1/2 mile or so isn't part of the trail system. I forgot to turn off the AllTrail recorder. Oops!

Easy short hike with the bonus of the waterfall. Good place to pack a lunch and eat on a rock at the base of the falls.
