Description
Waypoints (0)

Nice hiking loop on trails maintained by the Saratoga Mountain Bike Association (SMBA). Elevation gain is minimal making for a fairly easy walk, however some sections of trail are littered with large rocks potentially making it a moderate hike for some. The majority of this loop is on private land that adjoins the Daniels Road State Forest. Trails are clearly defined and easy to follow but red DEC discs only appear in the middle of the hike once on DEC land.

Super easy to get lost back here. Pretty but rocky and muddy. Also lots of trees down.

Trail is currently very muddy in some places due to all the recent rain. Fair amount of blow-down from a recent storm. Otherwise it’s a great walk in the woods.

Super fun trail with quite a few chances to explore off the beaten path. Definitely muddy this time of year but worth the chance to splosh around and traverse some rocks! I can see why it’s rated moderate but I didn’t have a hard time at all.

Nice walk with our puppy. The weather was great and the trail is easy to follow with the map, without it would be really hard (several bifurcation along the way).

walked this for the first time just two days ago. it was nice, but no markers, making it difficult to explore side trails.

Really enjoyed this hike. Snow and ice currently covers much of the trail but we saw a number of other people out enjoying their walk. Wet and muddy in some places so watch your footing.
