Trail was not well maintained, so it was very uneven areas of both long and short grass and was difficult for walking.

Started out rough and was very overgrown until reaching the high ground. Once on top it opened to a awesome forest setting.

very overgrown a lot of bugs and bees. also I seen several deer which means more likely than that there's ticks and snakes. you're basically walking through a giant field which is nice if you have a young dog that likes to run however I was told dogs are supposed to be on a leash so just be courteous if you see somebody else here. and there's no shade you're basically walking through the outside of farmers private property it looks like

Very overgrown and very bugging. The trails are not marked well- it basically is just a deer run in some places.

The bugs were some of the worst I've ever experienced, we had to turn back. Overgrown. Poorly marked. One positive is that the dogs had an amazing time and loved running through the fields.

Very fun trail. Bit buggy and overgrown in some places so long pants and bug spray are necessary. Muddy in spots but if you have proper footwear it’s not a problem. My dog had a great time.

Great quick and easy hike with a dog. Hills and meadows. Muddy after the last few weeks of on-and-off rain.

It was a great trail, well maintained. More styled to bring your kids along.

Some trails are so overgrown! there's no way you could take children through there. A little maintenance would go a long way. Then maybe the trails would get some more usage.

Trail 5 through mature, ferned woods was peaceful. Trail clear. appreciated comments on meadowgrass trails conditions so I wasn't surprised when I couldn't figure out which way to go. there ARE trail markers tucked along the way. good idea to download map. i saw a few disinterested bees, one small shy snake of unidentified species, and few bugs.

Honestly, it wasn't the most exciting trail. Very overgrown and frustrating.

You basically walk up a hill through a field, then walk through a small forest and then back down to the car. Fun times.

The trail isn't well kept and there's lots of bugs due to high grass.

This trail snakes through one of the few untouched old-growth forest stands left in NY state. Great place to go if you're looking for a peaceful walk in the woods

Seems like it could be a nice hike but today (my first visit) it was overgrown and the trail difficult to follow. Lots of bugs due to the high grass.
