Best hiking during my trip in finger lakes. The gorge is beautiful! Few places you could stay in the water but the swimming pool is closed on the day I visited. 95% People wear masks. Per COVID, it is one way hike but 10% people walk in their own way. Freedom?! Recommend to all.

Nice place to hike and swim. Pretty busy and people not paying attention to the one way track or mask wearing.

Rim Trail was very hard. Didn’t know you could opt out and just do the gorge trail. Would definitely do the gorge trail again as it was very beautiful and would definitely bring a bathing suit! A little disappointed that there was hardly any water running down the main falls at the entrance otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Very nice. If going into the water go in the middle or the top. The pool at the bottom is full of people and kids.

Tough Rim trail getting up, but worth every bit of it. Gorgeous on the way down. Don't take the bridge go all the way to the road and make a right and another right onto the Gorge trail to come back! Nice spots to jump in the water!

Wow. You gain 900’ elevation on the Rim Trail side, up a combination of hills, rocks, and roots made into steps, and then the Gorge Trail takes you down mostly stairs. It feels MUCH longer than 1.6 mi.! FYI: The Gorge Trail side is rated Hard, not Moderate. It’s definitely hard on the knees, but SO beautiful! Very well-kept trail and easy to follow. The way down/back is narrow at places and it is hard to socially distance. There are plenty of places to swim and marvel at the towering walls of stone on the way down.

One way up rim and down gorge trail. Did bear add on. Gorgeous views on gorge trail, started at 8:15 am and barely passed any people - maybe 4-5 groups in wrong direction? Liked way better than Watkins glen and had waterfall views to myself for a while.

Drove 6 hours to kick my hike off with this sight. Told me I couldn’t hit the trail because of Covid.... our doors.... Covid outdoors.

Great intermediate trail! The gorge trail side has stairs, the rim trail side does not. Open during COVID, but it’s all one-way on the loop. A little more crowded than expected, but still beautiful!

Great trail for a couple hour walk! Steep hike on the way up and there are several falls on the way down with an easy walk on the way down. The swimming hole was closed due to COVID.

7/22/2020 From the upper lot. The Gorge is one way to the Lower Lot, Rim is one way back up. Rim is pretty steep for the first half, not brutal but not that easy either, but it does even off. Gorge trail is gorgeous, rim trail doesn't really provide a view.

Great hike, but just a heads up...swimming is not allowed on the trail, (even though you see lots of people swimming) and they are ticketing people (we were ticketed for swimming). Totally worth it though! Lots of stairs, but beautiful views!
