HikingGreat!

A little steep in some areas, so it can be slippery with the leaves on the ground. Otherwise, a beautiful hike with not many people. Paths are very well marked.

Went the day after some rain, a lot of leaves on the ground but not too slippery-the leaves just made one part of the trail harder to tell where the path was. Overall a good, nice and quick walk/hike.

Nice mowed trail in and out of woods. Nice fall colors during autumn. My kids love it. I’ve never ran into another person while walking this trail.

Mostly labeled well except end of loop there are no trail marks and it takes you around a field and over a road, instead you can cross the drawbridge (passing the tubes) to intersect back to the “trail” instead of walking around. Easiest to park on side road not on campus.

Good trail, well maintained. There are a few trails in this area as well. Though it isn’t all in the hills and comes out on the other end of the college behind the Broome County Prison. So can get a little turned around at that point.

Shaded. Good exercise, some steep inclines but not like Catskills or anything. Nice wooded walk and good views. Blue trail seems to be the longest route. I have not tried the red yet. Trails very well marked.

Absolutely beautiful trail to hike in late summer! A bit of a steep and challenging incline in the beginning, but the views are definitely worth it. Just don’t do what I did and step off the trail by the sheriff’s department.

Well kept trail, great elevation on the blue trail. Took our Great Dane and he loved it. Bring good shoes so you don't slip going downhill.

Beautiful hike. Definitely some steep uphill hike for a decent part. Don't do the blue marked if you don't like straight up. Hearing the birds and frogs and the scenery was worth the hike.

A nice mixture of wooded and open fields. Trails are very clearly marked. A little narrow and steep going into the woods. Really good to work the cardiovascular system. I had to stop and take a few breaks here and there but it's definitely doable. Does anyone know anything about the old overturned car in the far northwestern corner of the property where the blue and orange trails meet? Looks like it's been out there a long time.

When you come to the T at the power lines take the power lines that head northwest and the trail continues there on the right side of the power lines

When you get to the T in the trail near the power lines walk up the power lines about 500/1000 feet then the trail continues on the right side of the power lines.

A touch wet but nothing terrible. A lot of the trail had markers on the tree but at one point I made a wrong turn and got off track a little bit but was able to pick up the trail later on.

Great trail with beautiful views of the valley. I highly recommend wearing waterproof high top hiking boots. Its muddy at times but that’s normal in the spring. I parked my car at student parking lot #5 off of north college drive. Walk up the hill across the parking lot and you will see a booth with a map at the beginning of the red trail. Follow the red trail to the blue trail that heads up the big hill. The paths are not always well marked. Take a pic of the map at the booth so you have it as your guide. Along the way you will see posts of information about the animals and plants in the forest ecosystem. Take a moment to stop, look and even listen. I saw many red hawks, dear and bunnies go by. Great to hike in any weather condition if you wear proper gear. Enjoy!

Tried to reverse route this trail. Was okay to the power lines, then failed to pick up the red trail. Believe I knew where I made my mistake, ended up above the Sheriffs Department and made it down a couple of steep hills, crossing a creek to get back to my car.
