Fantastic hike with lots of hard scrambles! A Tuesday early morning was just perfect. We saw about 6 people.

Awesome trail. A lot of good rock scrambling if you're up for it, however they do have an easy route that parallels it. Pretty steep climbs at times so I'd recommend pacing it well and bringing a good amount of water. Overall though it was a solid hike and definitely recommend it.

Very fun hike, the first 1/5 is pretty challenging but it gets easier after that. Awesome views of the Hudson River, not too crowded. The ruins at the end of the loop were also really interesting

Amazing and challenging trail!

This is a great trail. I would do this again, only difference I would bring more water and binoculars. Great views and a very thrilling climb. the trail is well maintained by the nynj trail conference.
