Nice place, not much in the way of trail hiking, more of a place to go to watch for birds during migration. It does have an elevated deck for bird watching and the day I was there 2 people where watching and recording number of sightings of certain raptors. I didn't see any while I was there but board indicated bald eagle was spotted 3 times. Is kid friendly as they have a small playground, also have a indoor pavilion which I assume can be rented out. If just looking to relax and bird watch then great place.

Quiet calm place to be on a windy day.

The trail is a bit easy to miss but well worth it when you get there - though it's not long, going around more than once doesn't get boring. We even saw monarch butterflies of all things!!
A note: this trail has hunting trails branching off of it, so be careful during hunting season.
