Use GPS. So many trails offshoots it's easy to get lost.

Not very well marked and easy to get lost! Definitely need GPS or you might spend the night out here... I hiked with my dog and had to keep a close eye out for Mountain Bikers that were barreling toward me. Otherwise it was a fun hike!

Close to traffic sounds so it’s not a usual serene nature trail but all the bike loops and switchbacks make it a really fun hike! My dog and I had a fabulous time and will definitely be back for more exercise.

difficult to navigate. the trail is not well marked and there are lots of different bike trails criss-crossing each other. that said, it was a nice walk in the woods, nothing too difficult, which climaxed at a kind of summit that was pretty close to the highway. along the way: lots of playful chipmunks, a deer, and the remains of a nasty car crash.

Primarily mountain bike trails out here, and the trail map is very out of date. Otherwise a nice trail.

Buggy. Love the weaving in/out and up/down paths. There are no markers but this app is a life saver!

Great spot for biking! There’s a main trail/road path with some pretty challenging offshoots. Great ride for Father’s Day morning!

Took us a while to find the “Easy” trail. This place is massive and a lot of the trails are really rough. Can’t wait to come back and keep riding!

Highly recommend this trail. A lot of up and down hill. Must have hood mountain bike. Some areas require carrying bike over fallen trees. Definitely will return.

Cold windy and rainy day. Probably not the best day to hike but necessary training. Fast paced hike for my short legs, 26 minutes a mile. Good hike.

Hiking

Did this hike on a windy and rainy day. It was not challenging, but could be extended many times over with all the routes. It was difficult to stay on trail because of the fallen leaves and inaccuracies on some of the parts of be map. All in all it was a really nice hike. We did see a deer running off I to the distance.

Running

Absolutely stunning and beautiful trail/s. The markings are not the best, but I found that when in doubt, just follow the MTB trail. The trail is labeled as moderate but I noticed from the Westchester MTB site, some parts are advanced. Be careful runners, there were a few large potholes camouflaged on the more technical portions with plush grass. Also, there were parts of the trail that seemed very tough for a runner (you fare better by walking or biking). This caused me to turn back a few times. Finally, like most trails, expect to climb and climb some more. This park felt really safe. I loved this Park and will visit again...and again!

This place was no fun. To many trails made by bikes that are not mapped and some of the trails that are that this map was shows were almost impossible to find. Held my phone almost the entire time.

First to Review

I found the recording for the 5.6 mile path left me less than confident. It exposed rooms for improvement in the recording. For example, some directions vectors would improved navigation immensely. Also an option to mark areas that appear vague such as intersections or bad trail segments. The views along the trail are very good; scenic deeps words feeling with so many fallen trees makes it look like woods less traveled. A lot of the path is used by mountain bikers and also makes good sections for running. The 5.6 mike recording is made up of some windy segments that appeals more to bikers and to hikers feel maze like. I might suggest walking one of the recordings made by other colleagues.
