Nice easy hike with lots of shade. Very muddy on the part of the trail that passes Huntley pond so definitely be prepared with good hiking boots. Once you get to the river, it is very scenic and peaceful. Bring your bathing suit because you'll have your own private beach next to the slow moving Hudson!

Excellent hike, beautiful beach when you reach the gorge. Bring a picnic and hang out on the beach. Really muddy yesterday but passable. Good for dogs. Didn't go in the water as the current looked strong. Will definitely do this again, beautiful!

Great hike. Very muddy at times. Excellent river access at the end with several sandy beaches and swimming holes (July river level)
