Christman Sanctuary is a nature preserve that protects part of the Bozen Kill creek. Along the creek there are a series of small waterfalls and cascades. From the parking area, follow the trail through the field to the sign-in register just inside the forest. Continue left on the trail with blue markers which will take you down to the creek. After about 1/2 mile, if the creek is low enough, you can cross and follow the Plantation Trail. It is best to follow this loop trail (marked with orange) in a clockwise direction. The blue trail continues along the creek to a T-intersection. Go straight ahead and then down some steps. You will soon reach the base of the 30 foot waterfall. This is a nice picnic spot with a lean-to. To return, retrace your steps to the T-intersection. Take a left and follow the trail back to the register.

If you want to see a waterfall, you might want to wait for rain. It’s barely a trickle right now. Still awesome and we had fun exploring. But we will definitely have to go back to see the water actually flowing!

Great trail for kids and adults. A few climbs but generally quite flat. Creek and waterfall were fairly dry. Some areas were a bit overgrown. Blue trail along creek was beautiful. Lots of fish, crayfish and frogs.

solid hike, kids friendly. I don't think there's been enough rain for the waterfall to be more than a trickle. this was still a fun hike with a few nice elevation climbs.

Easy family hike. Did this with my 3 year old and she had a good time. If you’re in a hurry, I recommend taking the yellow trail to the lean to. That way shortcuts to the waterfall. Overall easy trip with great scenery

Great hike for kids. Dogs on leash are welcome, despite what some apps/websites say. Quite busy, with small parking lot. True gem.

Multiple little waterfalls that are very pretty. Busy but easy to be spaced out. Many places to go in the water. Go on more than just the blue trail to see everything.

We have been on the small part of the blue trail that goes near the road and to the waterfall but cannot figure out where to pick up the blue trail that goes in the other direction on the larger side of the loop. does anyone know if you are on the yellow trail at the lean-to if the blue trail goes back through there somewhere?

I hiked here about two weeks ago. It tends to be Muddy, but most of the trail has planks to get over it. Easy hike with great views. Although the main waterfall was a bit hidden.

Appropriately named, the waterfall is absolutely peaceful and serene. Very muddy getting there. Some wonderful people have built bridges and walk-overs, but there were plenty of muddy areas to walk through. Trail is poorly marked. Fortunately, it is not a long loop, the woods are fairly open, and you can follow the beaten path enough that you will not wander lost too long. Easy hike. Not much rise. Mostly smooth trail. Lots of small children and dogs handled the trail without trouble. Could not access the orange trail, without crossing a swift moving stream. Parking is not plentiful. The lot holds about 10 cars, there is room on the roadway for another 10 cars. A neighbor is disgusted with people parking on the road, that he put up several 'no parking' signs. These are not enforceable by the law and violating the signs incurs nothing aside from disrupting the peaceful life of someone trying to live away from the hustle of the world. Was not terribly buggy, though there were certainly present. Only wildlife we came across were some type of garter snakes. They slithered away at the first sound of us. Tip 1: When you lose the trail (and you will) follow the sound of rushing water. Just a few minutes to the ridge above the waterfalls and you can follow it to the right for quite a while. At some point you will see a narrow passage between smoothed boulders. Go between and you will see a man-made staircase heading down to the water's edge, complete with a secure rope handle. Tip 2: If you see a yellow marker, follow it to the rock dedicated to the Christman's. The yellow trail is probably only three minutes total distance and connects between two aspects of the blue trail. If you follow the yellow to the water, then turn right, you are only a minute or two away from the stairwell down to the water's edge.

Enjoyed this hike today. Went on the blue trail. Got some great pictures of the water falls while we were there. Easy hike. Muddy at the beginning but worth it.

Very beautiful water falls. Couldnt reach the orange trail because you had to cross the stream. Extremely muddy at the beginning. Worth the mess though!
