Trail is pretty easy. Some mud here & there but overall easy hike. Not anything overexciting.

Good trail over all, low traffic. The end is a bit muddy if you go right at the beginning. I recommended this trail for anyone. Cool, well built bridges.

Super fun short hike. Trail was still muddy and snowy but no spikes or snowshoes were needed. The NY/PA border marker is at about the halfway point but is small and not super obvious unless you’re looking for it. Would like to do this hike in the summer but I imagine it’d be buggy.

One of the nicest trails in the park. The trail is an easy hour and a half hike with the plus of being a loop trail. Survey border between New York and Pennsylvania can be found around the halfway point.

Our favorite trail so far. Went in on the right and coming out on the other side was very slick and bad footing to come off hill. Poor tree sapling is the only thing to hold onto without slipping on the mud and will not last long. Great trail with bridges and stone walkways. Very woodsy.

Nice trail, weather damage recent on the trail. Needs to be more clearly marked where it diverges from the equine trail.

Good trail. there is one spot where the trail is wet and hard to get through. The trail is a good trail to take the family.

Excellent trail except very icy on the hills and the trail is washed out in a few areas making it hard to pick back up if you want paying attention to the map. Keep he rides on the trail and on your map and you should be fine, a beautiful trail even in the brown of early spring, I can't wait to come back here in April or May to see the colors.

We hike it every year! Where else can you stand in two places at once :)

Completed this as part of the Allegany 18 Trail Challenge. Nearly all ASP trails are well-marked and easy to follow. Quick hike, neat spot with a cement marker where NY and PA border is Cool small rock tunnels under trail in spots. Better hiking in ASP very early morning, or off season for less trash left to pick up, quieter trails.

Note to travelers who are coming to this trailhead from the north. I highly recommend taking 219 into Bradford Pa. and turn right onto Interstate Parkway. It does appear to take longer to get to the trailhead from the AllTrails app instructions provided us to take (seasonal road) Limestone Rd to Ridge Run to Allegheny State Park Rte 2 to Allegheny State Park Rte 3. However, these roads are extremely rough for regular vehicles (car) and even with going at a snails pace, bottomed out once or twice. Risking car damage and very slow speed it not worth gaining a few minutes. The trail was an easy hike and well marked.

The trail was quite wet in spots today but very passable. Wear hiking boots and it will be fine. Saw a few wild flowers and heard some birds...pleasant trail.
