Black River Bay is a 9.3 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Sackets Harbor, New York that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for birding, canoeing, and whitewater kayaking and is best used from April until October.
Starts out just off main road for easy access and a dock to launch from. Paddled for 20 or so minutes through a nice secluded section then opens up into the bay with plenty of water to roam. Off to the right side of the bay fish were jumping everywhere which was pretty cool.
