We found this trail after driving back from hiking into Low's Ridge. We decided to explore and glad we did! This is a nice relatively flat hike out and back (`380' elevation gain over 4 miles). We didn't have high hopes of this being something spectacular, but we were wrong. We loved seeing the large Yellow Birch trees as well as the very large Hemlocks - alongside the trail on the way in. We even saw lots of Chaga on the Birch and Burroughs on the Hemlocks. When we arrived at Bridgebrook pond, we were amazed to find the quality of life there was thriving. There were frongs, minnows, loons, birds of prey, and many, many song birds. We are looking forward to snowshoeing OR X-Skiing this in the Winter months!
