Big Pond Trail is a 3.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Schroon Lake, New York and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and snowshoeing and is best used from December until February. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

A very nice trail runs thru several habitats of forest. Goes by a beaver pond but does not go anywhere near Big Pond. Trail head is very obvious on Hoffman Rd. Open all year DEC public access. The trail continues for several miles and connects to other trails in the wilderness area.
