Love this little trail so much and agreeing with friends below- I drive by often and it’s still closed. Disappointing.

I echo some of the frustration on here. Better (closer to the HW) signs would be helpful. I don't understand why this is still closed. I've taken several trips there to be met with chains across the parking lot. A social media message since this is privately owned seems appropriate. =/

I’ve driven here 3 times since March. Most recent was Saturday... still closed (nov1) STILL CLOSED. I love coming here and there should really be signs way before hitting the road that it is closed. I don’t understand why it is still is/ very frustrating.

HikingMuddy

Unexpectedly warm January day (59!) So we headed up to Bear Hill. Muddy but nice. Gate open but just a donation bucket out. Watch out for poop on side of trail left by selfish/lazy people....

HikingClosedPrivate property

Looked like it could have been a nice hike, but unfortunately the parking lot and access were closed off with a chain and big sign saying that its private property. Did not think it was a good idea to ignore the sign. This was on a Sunday at 3pm. Any trail that is randomly closed on Sundays at 3pm shouldn’t get anything higher that 2 Stars.

Didn't expect entry fee to be $7/person. However, note that vets are free! If you live locally it's worth the $25 annual fee to support this well maintained, picturesque but private trail! Also, it's so close to the Cragsmoor stone Church you definitely should stop there, too!

Short easy hike with a great view! Would be great for kids. They do charge 7$per person which stinks, but keeps the trail quiet.

DONT GO here. They charge cuz it’s private property. I don’t carry cash so I couldn’t pay. I drove 4 hours to get here with my dogs and couldn’t even go. Plus the guy was very rude. Waste of time.
