A hidden oasis. Peaceful and beautiful all year round. Each season presents its own beauty. House tours are interesting and the cafe offers a variety of sandwiches, soups, drinks, and desserts. The park is relaxing, and scenic. My favorite NY State Park.

Fairly easy loop to follow. I got here before the arboretum was open but got in using a staff entrance road. Didn't really give me the peaceful lost in the woods feeling I long for when I go hiking but still a nice nature loop worth doing.

Beautiful hike with family all around Bayard Arboretum. Very scenic, grounds are great. Then my son & I went into Connetquot State Park using Greenbelt trail. Hatchery is pretty cool!

Very clean, flat, with many paved portions and a good amount of wildlife, tons of various trees, plants, and activity. This is not really a nature reserve, so do the research over this donation. It's like a very small version of the Maymont House in Richmond, VA. Very family friendly and there's a cafe when it's open. Snack on the large lawn and pretend you're rich!

It’s the Connetquot River, not a lake

This isn’t a formal hiking trail. There aren’t any formal markings, though you should be able to navigate your way when relying on the app. When hiking near the three ponds, the path is overgrown in some areas so be cautious. Otherwise a great variety of sites on the premises. Very beautiful hike in general!

Easy walk through a beautiful setting. Hard to believe I've never been here before even though it's been in my backyard my whole life.

I had fun at this place. The lake was nice, the trail themselves are easy to walk, it was just beautiful, and the really big home was nice to look at too. All in all I would suggest people to come by this place when they have time. It’s a good place to spend a few hours on the weekend

Lots of plants and lots of little winding trails, including along the river. There were even a few colorful flowers still out on October 30 when I went. Probably June is a little better for the flowers though. Still nice.
