It has been reported that the west side of the park is closed until May 20th. This is a great beginner trail run. Clean. Beautiful. Hilly but not very steep.

The main entrance is closed, so you can enter with Rhododendron Dr near Harbor Rd. There you will see a pedestrian crossing sign. The trail is pretty good, although a couple of sections of the trail are closed for repair and restoration, but there are bypass trails. It is best to park near the mini mall on Main St behind the church and then walk about four blocks to the entrance.

Very dog friendly. Entrance at the beginning of the pond closed due to construction, read reviews that it’d be open by 5/20 but it’s still closed off. Love that the trails are partially paved, makes it suitable for my corgi! Trails are easy!

Great hike today with our pup. Some trails are closed for construction till May but there are lots of nice trails. A little bit muddy but to be expected in March. Lots of cool areas to check out like the Sphere. We did a couple of small geocaches. Overall enjoyed our day

great park, pet friendly. only drawback is people keep feeding waterfowl stale bread when they shouldn't. Sign is up but nobody reads. When I try to educate people I get cursed at. So some people get one star.

Done this trail many times and it’s very beautiful, calm, peaceful, and scenic. Did the blue trail around back this morning and loved it.

A really interesting park with lots of trails and points to stop and see different sculptures and installations. The park when you first begin is a lot of boardwalks around the lake, and then there are plenty of opportunities to veer off into the woods behind the lake. Excellent for an hour or so walk, not difficult at all, though slight inclines in some places. Perfect to walk your dog.

Most beautiful hike on LI. Great for families and wonderful for Any season.

Great trail, clearly marked and mostly in the shade. My dog walked it with ease not a lot of crowds and almost no bugs

Some of the trail has man made bridges, steps made with large rock, and artistic pieces, which are all beautiful! There are shaded areas and full open sun areas throughout the trail. They have a little tree stump water fountain in the beginning for dogs. This is a fun walk with different short cuts.

Simply a great place for all ages. A beautifully kept preserve. Starts with an artistic short walk that leads to the larger preserve. A must, Dogs are welcomed.

A beautiful trail with many different scenic areas. From the pond to the forest to the sunflower field, each route is different and makes it more fun to explore each of them separately or all of them at once.

1st time here. Will be back. Trails well maintained with plenty of trails to hike depending on how far you want to go, I did 3 1/2 miles. Lots to see with a variety of different types of terrain. Overall a great place to go by yourself, with the kids or even bring the dog.
