Easy, beautiful falls.

Trail is very well maintained. Short walk through a beautiful forest to see a unique Adirondack waterfall. The waterfall surprised me with the force of the rapids and how it was a gorge rather than a classic waterfall. Highly recommended as a stop on your way to the northern Adirondack region as the trailhead is right on the side of Route 8.

Even with the low water, the Auger Falls loop is impressive. The trees are starting to turn color and in a week or two will be at peak.

Very easy and quick hike. The trail follows the river for a good portion of the hike. Looks to be a very poplar hike cause of the easiness of it so expect to see others while hiking It. Alot of families on the trail.

The falls are incredible, especially after a large rainstorm. Woods in This area are lush and beautiful.

Very easy and beautiful. Had to climb over a couple fallen trees but it wasn't bad.

beautiful sights easy walk rocks by waterfall is super slippery if you follow the trail down steam to the right after the falls there's an area marked for camping overnight.... if you follow the trail upstream to the left after the falls is a loop awesome views my toddlers (5yr and 3yr) made it threw the whole way no problem lots of fun great pictures.

A beautiful short hike with an amazing reward at the end! Went in July and it is pretty wet in some spots. Very easy for children or older adults.

Super easy hike to the falls. The falls are lovely and the water flow is quite powerful. Neato. The trail markings become a bit more murky as you head past the falls, but the most important thing to remember is that the trail, walking upstream, sticks to the rivers edge for a couple hundred yards and then slowly loops back to the parking area. Go for it! Don't turn back at the falls, do the entire loop!

Very easy, light trail to do in less than 2 hours. My parents and I enjoyed this hike as a leg-stretch after our long ride to New York. Trail is mostly flat, and the falls are very pretty. The loop back isn't very well marked or maintained, so we turned around and returned the way we came.

Beautiful falls. Loop trail just over a mile. Tough to get real close to falls but managed to do so.

Beautiful walk. Raging falls that make ground shake but watch little kids. One slip and they will be gone forever!

Great day to see the falls! An inch plus of rain yesterday really got the water roaring through the gorge. The trail was a little muddy, but in good shape. Very enjoyable outing.

Very pretty! Still icy (April) in some spots. Trail not marked well at furthest point (along river) .. we hiked in/out when we lost markers.
