Great and beautiful hike. We hiked from Bull Bridge to the Housatonic overlook which was about 1000 ft in elevation gain and 8 miles out and back. It was worth it! I would love to go back in the fall when all the trees have changed colors.

One of my favorite local hikes. This trail is easy-moderate difficulty and has great views by the river. Lots of wildlife and plenty of friendly people. Good for camping and swimming if you find an area that isn't rapids.

Hiked from the bridge along the Appalachian Trail and the Herrick Trail to two different overlooks. Total hike (out and back) was approximately 7 miles. Went three days after some snow which made the hike interesting and a little more difficult up steepest sections, but still a great hike.
