Anthony's Nose via Camp Smith Trail is a 2.2 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Garrison, New York that features a great forest setting and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

December 29, 2020Enjoyable hike! Steep at times. The parking lot is small (maybe 10-12 cars) and was full when we arrived at 11:30. We parked at the scenic overlook nearby. Trail is easy to follow and marked well with blue blazes. Awesome views!
December 28, 2020Fun trail. A little muddy after all the rain and snow melt. Peak views are absolutely worth it. Trail was empty on a Monday at 8 am.
December 27, 2020December 27, 2020December 27, 2020My buddy and I did this in late December and had a great time doing so. We started on the trail a little after 6:00 am, good thing I remembered the headlamp. The climb up was a great workout and the markings were easy to follow. Once we got to the top of the initial climb, it leveled off and we made it to the point to see the American Flag, the river, and Bear Mountain. The sun was just coming up as well and it was an amazing view. Absolutely worth it. We continued and got pretty close to the end of the trail and decided to head back since we were cutting it close with an event we had to attend afterwards. The views are great. The markings were also great and we will definitely be back.

November 28, 2020November 22, 2020This hike felt like a leisurely walk in the woods and then voila! we were greeted by a beautiful view of the Hudson River, a bridge, and Bear Mountain State Park. It was a lovely way to start a brisk Fall morning.
