Attempted on 1/10/18 and had to turn back right at the base of the slide. It took me 4.5 hours to make it that far due to the snow. I had to break trail the whole way and in some places I sunk in over 2-3 feet deep even with snow shoes so keep in mind. Very difficult trail with snow. Know your limits and don't try and overdue yourself because even at the summit you'll have 9 miles left to go back.
