I hiked this trail on July 20th.
It had been dry for many days which helped when you get to the scramble near the peak.
The red moss is extremely slippery and I took one fall on the way up.
Many people I saw coming down had taken a few falls on their butts due to the moss so be careful.
If possible I would watch the weather and wait to do this after a few dry days.
This is a very long approach (and therefore decent) so make sure you have plenty of water.
The raspberries were plentiful along the way and made for some nice snacks.
I would also recommend a bug net as the flies were relentless when I was coming out around 6 PM.
The views just before the summit and right past are pretty nice and the dragon flies were amazing.
Number 41 is in the books.
