I've done the 5 volcano trail out here and really liked it. This one isn't marked well, and it doesn't hit the Bond Cave at the end. Also, don't follow my trail, got "lost" a couple times and went a little further than it was supposed to be.

Ran on 1/30. This route was alright! Not the most spectacular, but it was kind of cool to traverse the park like that. I actually enjoyed the grassy plains. My only complaint is that the trail itself was kind of lame. Often underneath powerlines. The volcanoes themselves were awesome though. If you're up for a shorter hike, I would just opt to string them together.

Lots of views of Albuquerque. Easy hiking, but dull.

13 miles of open desert, like wandering in the Asian steppe - windy, sunburnt moonscape - poorly signed, rapacious tumbleweedage, ideal for children and the elderly. Hastens early demise. No actual petroglyphs.

If you have the time while in ABQ, it's worth a trip. There is a stunning view of the city and Sandias. Bring a hat, sunscreen and water. Well maintained paths, adequate signage.

Nicely maintained, steady hike. There’s no shade whatsoever, so bring a good hat, cover up, and wear sunscreen. Also, there were tons and tons of millipedes all along the trail when I went, so if you’re not into that seeing tons of creepy crawlers, then keep that in mind.

Running

Relatively flat with a couple minor hills. Pretty easy to follow. Best to go early before the sun hits it peak.

Ok so first off you’re not aloud to bike this trail. Regardless of what the app says I was approached by two “volunteers” that reminded me that it wasn’t aloud since they have nothing better to do during a pandemic I suppose I was in the wrong but get a life it’s a beautiful day I wasn’t riding like a maniac and AllTrails fix your data also I’d love it if they’d let us ride these trails they are big enough for everyone can’t wrap my head around why we can’t but rules are rules

Easy, well maintained trail. Took my 9 and 5 year olds with me and they did fine. 5 year old slipped a couple of times but no harm done. Moderate traffic but not overly crowded.
