Starts with beautiful lush mountain forest... ends with a walk along a meadow fire break. Only disappointing part was the last bit on the side of the road, but even that was scenic. Lovely day. Great walk with dog.

It is a nice trip to escape the summer heat and there are nice views in spots and wildflowers, as well as some aspens.

This is another great trail in the Sandia Mountains. What can I say that will get you to come see this trail? Well, if you like being alone on a mountain and deep in the woods, this is a trail you will enjoy. Bring water and snacks and plan to stay awhile.
