We have hiked this trail a few times with kids. Lots of fun. But it is now closed (since June 1, 2018) until further notice.

Great trail: starts off kind weird: walking between 2 fences, but once you’re in the woods, its a great loop on both sides of the small creek. Parking is very limited: only 3 cars max

Great trail. Beautiful with the light snow.

Nothing special but definitely a nice leg stretcher. A lot of the trail is around private land and it is clear that you’re not particularly wanted. There also is active grazing so there will be cows. I imagine that parking is a problem in the high season as there are about 5 spots and menacing signs. I have done big sections of the trail from the top near the the ski basin. A good option if you want a leg stretcher but you can do much better in the Santa Fe area.

This spot has some stunning view during the Fall seasons. We went there around mid October.

I love the contrast between the yellowish, orangey, and reddish fallen leaves and the existing green pine trees.

Thanks to the running creek, there’s some spots you can see little fields of grass that’s rare in a desert like Santa Fe.

We didn’t finish the trail because it was getting a little late. We’ll be back very soon.

We followed Winsor trail up the creek. Beautiful walk, lush vegetation not too hot and a soothing stream. The only issue is that parking is tight, no park parking, just some parallel parking off a private road. Watch out for fast bikers

Beautiful trail with water and wild flowers throughout. I believe this is the end of the Windsor Trail coming down from the ski basin.

Nice trail along a creek. Very rocky and narrow at points with lots of shade. Not well marked, but fairly easy to follow. Easy to make the hike as long or short as one wishes.

the main trail is very narrow and on the edge of a very steep drop. the alternative trail is much nicer. the creek was dry today so it took another jaunt of about 3 miles to get to the running stream.

The trail is great. The map from all trails put us at the parking area. The trailhead is about 200 yards up the road. There is a trail map at the parking area showing all the different trails that are accessible from this particular starting point. The trail head is a little bit tricky. Follow the road up and keep an eye on the right side of the road. The trail head is poorly marked. It dissects two pieces of private property. If you arrive at driveways marked 53 & 54 you went too far. Have fun. After you are on the trail it's a breeze. Every trail from there is marked well and established.

I did sunrise hike here one morning when staying in Santa Fe. The views are terrific and there are multiple trail options near Bishop's lodge. There is quite a lot of open space around here, but new housing developments are beginning to fill in the landscape.
