South Philmont: Zastrow Turnaround to Tooth of Time is a 32.2 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Cimarron, New Mexico that features a river and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until November. Horses are also able to use this trail.

I hiked parts of this trail on my 1st trip to Philmont. We were dropped at the Kit Carson Museum and stopped by Zastrow for some duct tape ball, and then hiked to the Rayado River Camp.
