Moderate means if your in decent shape and not carrying 50 extra lbs you'll (should) have a fine time. But it's a good idea to also pay attention to that chart below the map that tells you altitude. In this case it means you start at 10,244 and no matter which way you go in your 4mi trek you will climb 1,821ft, mostly up. Also, they let cows go to pasture all over the ski basin. I'm sure there us a terribly good, very green, reason. But the whole place is covered in cow pies, smells like shit, literally, and the flies were unbearable. It was like being on a Midwest farm in the middle of summer. Something I moved to the southwest and go hiking in the mountains to get away from. Will NOT repeat this venture.
