This was a pretty nice hike. Lots of fresh air, took the pups and they loved it. Only problem was that we had a hard time following the trail once we got to a certain point, and it stopped completely. Will have to go again sometime when there is water, as this time it was bone dry.

Nice short hike, partly through a very narrow slot. Well marked with cairns. However this loop is only 1.6 miles all around. Also, the trailhead is right across from the lake Roberts Picnic Area which is another mile or so down Hwy 35 than where the driving directions show it to be.
