Playas Peak is a 1.9 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Hurley, New Mexico that offers scenic views and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Incredible views at the top, you can see the sky open 360 view. Looking at it from afar it is very misleading.

Great trail, route is easy to follow. Some steep parts that get fairly technical. American flag at the summit provides a good photo opportunity. Be aware that their is cartel and illegal border crossing activity in this area.
