WalkingGreat!

Beautiful views of Sandias and foothills on way out and the Rio Grande Valley on way back. All Trails valuable on this hike since there are a lot of alternatives. Also, wear hiking boots. Trail can be rocky. I brought my dog and trail gets narrow when bikes pass by.

Nice cool day. Perfect since there isn’t much shade on the trail.

1st hike using my AllTrails app Beautiful morning in ABQ today! Had a blast! Having the ability to refer to the trail on my app made me feel more confident venturing out on my own. Can’t wait to plan many many more hikes!

Nice little hike .. bug spray a must... and definitely watch out for the bikers ... I felt like I was invading their trail... but for the most part they were pleasantly nice to share their trail!

it was Saturday I felt like I was on the I-25 bikeway. some very aggressive riders with only fiery in there eyes. really nice trails to enjoy the sun, the Vista and fresh air if you don't mind getting run over. 7 out if 10

Easy up and down, but with lots of biker traffic. Regional burn area interesting.

Great foothill hike. Recommend going early or later in the day not much shade. Perfect for afterwork or a quick morning stroll.

Great trail! My son and I did about half of it this morning, he was NOT a fan of all the bugs flying around him! Hopefully we’ll be able to come back when there’s less and hike the whole trail!

This is a beautiful, well maintained trail. The wildfire on 6/11/19 devastated much of the area. The trail circumnavigates the burn for impressive views. The remainder of the hike is dotted with blooming cactus and wild flowers. There was a lot bike traffic today.

Single track and double track with lots of mountain bikers this Saturday. I hiked this time with my dog, but will definitely come back with the mountain bike now that I’ve scoped it out. GPS is handy as there are so many off-shoot trail options. No shade—take water and sunscreen. Trail is mostly dirt, some gravel. Really enjoyed this location!
