HikingGreat!

Very beautiful work of nature. The trail is paved to an observation area and its a short primitive hike up to the base of the arch. If one were to look around they may find a path that has been prepared some years ago to get them to the top. I only found that when heading down. Its a nice hike.

Beautiful and fairly easy hike, we went up a trail that had loose rocks and dirt, but on the way down found a trail that had steps. Beautiful view from the arch.

Stunning rock faces and the arch is lovely , the road leading up to it from Grant is exceptionally scenic: reminds me of Jurassic Park

Very short walk to the arch. The better part is the Sandstone bluff. It's a mile off the road before the arch, there is signage. Be sure to hit that.

Really just a quick walk to a view of the arch that isn’t much better than what you get from the road. Still, it doesn’t take long, so worth a stop.

Beautiful sight!!! Showing up right as the sun was going down was perfect. The shadows played a beautiful role in the depth and the layers of the arch!!! It’s a must see!!

Easy, short trek to the bottom of the Arch is more of a walk than a hike. Pictures are a bit of a challenge if the sun is in the wrong place ... the rocks that make up and support the Arch often don't stand out against the surrounding rocks. Try to catch the sun so the light/shadow emphasizes the Arch.

Very short walk on well marked trail. You can view the arch at the end of trail but you can’t hike to the arch. Nice to stretch your legs on.

Hiking

Easy, short trail. Once you get off I-40 it’s a nice drive down a two lane road with plenty of rock formations, and lava fields. Once you get there it’s just a little pull off and park area. With just a 5 minute walk from the car it’s an easy walk for anyone. Very clean, also has bathrooms at the entrance. A little breezy in late January, with some snow.
