the hike up to travertine Falls has a lot more rock in areas where I don't remember it. it's all uphill. The part to travertine Falls is fairly easy even if it is uphill. however the portion after travertine Falls that goes up to the South Crest Trail or the upper faulty Trail is a lot more strenuous. dappled shade throughout but some areas got a tad bit warm in the Sun. bring water.
