Was decent hike. Nothing bad. Took the dog and the kids and no complaints

Love this trail right out of the rainbow lake camp ground fun trail after a morning breakfast!!!

This trail is basically a road used by trucks I think to get to the back side of the Dam. There were also horse tracks so there is that too. The beginning is just south of mud canyon road opposite some cabins and and RV park. The first part goes through a nice meadow but then joins the road. There is another trail that takes off to the northwest and I did locate it but it is mostly overgrown.
