This is a great hike. You pay $5 for a day pass unless you have the state park pass. You can park at the visitor center and do the loop that will take you around the base of mountain and come out by campground. I just did the small loop back to make it a little longer. It ended up being about 2.4 miles. We then drove over to Spring Canyon which is also in that park. It’s about a mile up. It’s a pretty good incline and you might even see some Ibex while hiking. I’m definitely going to go back and do it again.
