It was okay. Biggest drawback is that the first half is on a dirt road passable by a capable 4WD vehicle when not too muddy. Luckily it finally turned into a nice secluded single track for the way back. Passed only by one runner on a weekday morning. Nice and quiet and no bikers seen although tire tracks in the dirt suggest that cyclists as well as off-road vehicles do use the trail. Good shade walking through the juniper. No views. Very flat and easy trail (who named this??). No water for dogs.

Really enjoyed the walk... Question for veteran NM hikers. We saw lots of animal droppings on the trial (someone has been eating berries) - what critter might this be?

We hike here with the kids all the time! plenty of shade, and easy going. trails are pretty rocky, but not too bad. It's always quiet, & we've only ever seen 4 people total out here. oh, and some good geo caching along the trails too. some micro sized, & other good sized caches.

little harder than expected. Bill Rocky and some areas in your wheels tend to slide. had a great time.

I think it would be nicer for biking than hiking.

Great workout for the glutes and thighs. Will definitely do this one again.

First trail hiked utilizing All Trails app. Trail easy to follow, at a fast pace took 18 minutes to complete. Safe and fun, just the right demand for a beginning to hike.
