Great views of Albuquerque from the top. To hike this loop specifically takes a bit of attention to the map as there are lots of other trails that could lead you astray. This was my first hike in the area and definitely not disappointed!

Great hike to challenge yourself. The extra .4 miles in the middle of the trail is definitely worth the view. Thanks Kevin for hiking such a tough yet short trail. We started on the trail northeast and ended on trail southwest. Worth every minute of it.

Great hike , shorter but quite nice if you are trying to get acustkmed to the elevation. I drove from Florida so this was a nice entry. The last bit of the hike to the peaks can be rather technical.

On a road trip from NE to AZ. Super happy to get this hike in at sunrise before finishing the trip. Challenging scrambles at the top. I’m new to hiking so the app is handy. My recording shows I was off a couple times. Stopped near the top and a hummingbird nearly landed on my shoulder!

Steep, gravelly, hot, beautiful! Tough climb in the sun. Great views to the South.

Was quick vertical climb but the views were worth it!

Recommend starting going East. Add the summit trail (found just after you begin your decent) for a little extra!
